Juan Manuel Marquez schools Juan Diaz - Calls Floyd Mayweather Jr

Juan Manuel Marquez wins a brutal 9th round KO over a legit rising star Juan Diaz. The fight was so amazing. As I have said before. I saw Juan Diaz as a small version of Joe Calzaghe, and their only difference is Juan Diaz hits harder. But that skills, strength and stamina have never been a factr over the #2 best P4P fighter / boxer Juan Manuel Marquez. Marquez simply is a Boxing MASTER and the only man can arguably beat him is the #1 P4P Manny Pacquiao. Marquez just schooled the boy(Diaz) according to a Spanish commentator. On the other hand, Diaz did a great job putting pressure against Marquez. Diaz never backed-off on the fight. He is so aggressive and furious. Diaz got Knockdown twice and the referee stops the fight immediately.

On an interview, Juan Manel Marquez says: Manny Pacquiao is still the best P4P fighter in the world. But the people around him never want him to fight me. So I am planning to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr instead. I always wanted to fight the best. And PBF is one of them. After that, I am planning to fight the winner of Hatton vs Pacquiao fight. Now, I feel I am the best!

Juan Manuel Marquez vs Juan Diaz ( February 28, 2009 ).

One of the biggest boxing star today, The Mexican "Dinamita" Juan Manuel Marquez will fight Mexican-American Juan " The Baby-Bull" Diaz which is scheduled for 12 rounds.

These fight is one of the most anticipated match for the lightweight division. Juan Diaz, a young 25 y/o boxer, former WBA, WBO, and IBF Lightweigh champion, is still one of the most exciting boxer to watch. This guy never had problems with his stamina, always in good condition, very brave, and very skilled. He had even called for Manny Pacquiao once after he defeated Julio Diaz at 2007 fight where he unify his 3 titles for Lightweight division. Juan Diaz had won his last fight vs Michael Katsidis dated September 6, 2008.
On the other hand, I think will be a very heavy favorite on this fight, Juan Manuel Marquez is just one hell of a fighter who had a ton of skill and another ton of intelligence in boxing. A very rare kind of boxer who had been an underrated for so many years under the shadows of fellow Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera and Eric Morales. A formerly ranked #3 best pound for pound, and now the #2 ranked behind Manny Pacquiao. Juan Manuel Marquez is a genius boxer proven when he had defeated Joel Casamayor with 11th round TKO and become the Ring Lighweight champion. He is now eagerly calling Pacquiao for a trilogy. But the question is, can win his next fight against Juan Diaz? And another question is, with Chris John's deccision fighting at USA, can he still look at Pacquiao's direction?

Vic Darchinyan def George Arce

One of the best boxer of last year Vic "The Raging Bull" Darchinyan is the new comeback king after he defeats Mexican Jorge Arce.

After vic Darchinyan was knock-out by Nonito Donaire sometime ago, I never ever had thought that Vic would be able to comeback and reclaim his position as the best 115 fighter in the world. Not too many can do that. I have seen a great fighters or boxers who was undefeated and got knocked-out for the first time in their career, and had hard times coming back. And many of the other great fighters had their career ended by a single knock-out lost. But Vic Darchinyan is a different boxer. After his devastating lost to Philippine's Nonito Donaire, he had never looked back.

The International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Association (WBA) super flyweight belts champion Vic "The Raging Bull" Darchinyan defeated he current WBA interim super flyweight champion and is a former WBC 115-pound and World Boxing Organization (WBO) 108-pound titleholder Jorge Arce.

As I have watched it ending at round 11. I have scored it 107-102 for the winner Vic Darchinyan. I gaved rounds 3, 5 and round 7 for Arce. I have almost gave round 4 for Arce for nailing Vic, however, Vic nailed Arce better with 44 seconds left at round 4. And all was a showtime for Vic. Vic also ShowBoats Arce most of the rounds. At the end of round 11 Arce was complaining for headbutt. But replays never showed at least a punch.
