Nonito Donaire defended his title

Brian Veloria is back! Thus commentators says after he KO the champion Ulisys Solis at round 11. Both of the boxers fought like a real warriors and gave their all within the fight. Solis suddenly stoped jabbing during round 10, and paid for it at round 11, resulting to a KO lost to the #9 ranked at the minum boxing division.

On the other hand, Nonito Donaire wins and defended his title too well versus the former undefeated American boxer Corbita. Donaire scored 2 fast Knock Down at the very first round, another knock down at round 2, and a knock down at round 4 which forced the referee to stop the fight. Donaire look so good at that fight, but many boxing experts noticed that his defense was very wide open.

Oscar "The Golden Boy" De la Hoya hangs his gloves!

The most popular and one of the best boxer ever of all time announces his retirement. Oscar says goodbye to the sports of boxing. He had a great record 39-6(30KOs) fighting the best of the best and ducking no one. The great boxer had started earning his credits during his amateur career. As a professional boxer, he had become 10 time world champion in 6 different division.

Oscar De la Hoya was last seen at his prime winning against Felix Sturm, and he tried fighting Bernard Hopkins which is obviously stronger puncher and bigger than he is. After his lost to Hopkins, Oscar have not fought for almost 2 years. Though, Oscar was not as fast as he was, at 2006, he defeated the bully Ricardo Mayorga by TKO at round 6. Then he again have his year long vacation. At 2007, after a year long rest. The slow and weak and old underdog Oscar De la Hoya fought Floyd Mayweather Jr were he had a split desccision lost. A year after, at May of 2008, Oscar fought Steve Forbes, Oscar looks good at that fight winning all the judges descission after 12 rounds.

Last fight...

December 6, 2008, Oscar De la Hoya fought the best opponent he had faced ever, Manny Pacquiao. Oscar was a heavy favorite favoring him to win under six rounds because of his size and punching power. Surprisingly Oscar was defeated and schooled by the small and yet P4Pbest boxer(Manny Pacquiao) Oscar had ever seen and fought, ever. Giving Oscar his only 2nd KO lost by a guy who started at 106lbs as a pro...
