BAGUIO CITY- Two time National open champion Dodie Boy Penalosa, son of the legendary former world light-weight and fly king Dodie Boy Sr., has reached an agreement to fight under the promotional banner of Manny Pacquiao.
This was disclosed on Friday by the fighter's multititled father Dodie Sr.., who is here t lend a hand in the preparation being made by Pacquiao against Miguel Cotto.
Pacquiao has instructed the Penalosas to prepare the 19-year-old Dodie Boy for his professional debut sometime in January 2010. Pacquiao himself assured them that he will be the one to stage the card.
Dodie Boy Jr, had originally been penciled by the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines(ABAP) to become a part of its rebuilding program when a new set of leaders were brought in early this year.
The ABAP even went to the extent of preventing the fighter from turning pro, assuring the young boxer that he will be given a spot on a team that is being prepared for future international tournaments.
But the senior Penalosa revealed that deal lasted for just a few months after a few promises were supposedly broken by ABAP officials.

The REAL best in the sports of boxing (without being bias) MY TOP 5 BEST P4P BOXERS
for skills vs skills basis + balls factor and walk the talk... Here is my honest P4P pick:
1. Manny Pacquiao (this guy is inhuman, he is just unbelievable, unbelievable that even Floyd Mayweather Jr can not believe how great this guys is - thus making him suspect that Pacman is using PED.. Imagine that? Floyd Mayweather Jr him self is a fan of Pacman... He just can not admit it.)
2. Juan Manuel Marquez Jr - This guys might have been beaten by Floyd Mayweather Jr, but hell, Floyd is no better than this guy. They fought at 147lbs, making Juan Manuel Marquez jump in 2 division higher/larger than he is( JMM was 135lbs fighter when their fight happened and they fought at 147lbs). I know Pacquiao have done that... But I say JMM is no Pacquiao. If the Floyd have fought JMM at 140lbs... That would be a very different story.
3. Nonito Donaire - This guy is fighting the best of the best in the divisions he have fought at. And he made them all looked like amateur. He always get a very easy W.
4. Floyd Mayweather Jr - although this guy looked very scared( of Pacquiao, Cotto, and Margarito) and talks too much than fighting inside the ring. I know that this guy has an excellent talent in boxing. He is very skilled, however, he doesnt have the balls to prove it. In fact, he said he is taking a 2 year vacation in a middle of negotiation with team Pacquiao.
5. Sergio Martinez - This guy have the potential and skills that is comparable to Roy Jones Jr (One of the all time best P4P). He defeated Kelly Pavlik... And I believe he also defeated Paul Williams "twice"... He has a very good skills and good stamina. He needs to fight more high profile fighter in order to propel him on the top.
And this is the real best P4P boxers in the world today...
